In July 2015, Nigerian-based business executive Chiedu Ebie moved from his position as managing director of Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited to his current role as commissioner of the Delta State Ministry of Education. Outside of his professional activities, Chiedu Ebie enjoys traveling, watching Formula 1 racing, and following his favorite professional soccer team, Manchester United.

Off the field, Manchester United players recently lifted the spirits of children facing serious and life-threatening illnesses during a Dream Day event. Held at the Aon Training Complex, the Manchester United Foundation’s Dream Days event takes place at least twice a season and gives young fans the opportunity to meet their favorite players, tour the team’s facilities, and watch the first-team train.

At the most recent Dream Day event, which took place September 21, 2015, youth from across England, Northern Ireland, and South Wales met face to face with United coaches and players, including the team’s captain, Wayne Rooney. The Manchester United Foundation organized the event with the help of similar charities, including Dreams Come True and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
